The Youth program at NLCC is undergoing a changing of the guard. Matt and Jackie Jones will be moving in the not-too-distant future, so that Matt can persue his Masters degree at Penn State.
However, all is under control! Matt and Jackie have been working with Jonathan Rose and Ashley Quinn, grooming them for the leadership roles our youth need. They have been working with Matt and Jackie for the last two years, and the baton of leadership will be officially handed over in May. Matt and Jackie will, of course, still be around during the transition, but our youth are in wonderful hands with Jonathan and Ashley! We welcome them to their new roles at NLCC!
Here's a little information about Jonathan and Ashley. Jonathan is 25 and is currently a sophomore at Philadelphia Biblical University, working toward a Bachelor's Degree in Youth Ministry and Biblical Studies. He's been on the volleyball team at PBU for two years. Ashley is 24, and is a graduate of Rosemont College with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. Ashley currently works for an automation engineering company.
Both came to NLCC a couple of years ago and were introduced to Matt and Jackie, who encouraged them to join them with the Youth group. They came to NLCC after attending another church where they felt they were not quite fitting in. After coming to NLCC, and joining Matt and Jackie with the Youth group, they felt that this was their calling, and that God was molding them for service over the last couple of years.
